The Big Jump with humanutopia

Empowering Young People to Be Brave, Dream Big, and Create Positive Change

At our Trust, we are committed to nurturing confident, compassionate, and ambitious young people. That’s why we are proud to be working in partnership with humanutopia to deliver The Big Jump – a personal development and enrichment programme designed for all Year 6 pupils.

Growing up in an uncertain and rapidly changing world can be challenging. The Big Jump supports pupils as they prepare for the transition to secondary school, helping them better understand themselves, build resilience, and believe in their own potential.

Inspiring Year 6 Pupils Across the Trust

Last week, pupils from Priory CE Academy and Park Hall Academy came together for an uplifting and energising session led by Steve and Ryan from humanutopia.

Throughout the day, pupils took part in highly interactive activities that encouraged them to step outside their comfort zones, explore their aspirations, and think deeply about the futures they want to create.

The session focused on helping pupils:

  • Build confidence and recognise their strengths
  • Raise their aspirations and dream big
  • Feel positive and prepared for the next stage of their journey

These experiences help ensure that their final year of primary school is not just memorable, but truly transformative.

A Community Effort with a Big Impact

A huge thank you to Priory CE Academy for hosting the day, and to humanutopia for their continued dedication to empowering our Year 6 pupils across the Trust.

With programmes like The Big Jump, we’re not only supporting young people academically – we’re helping them shape their identities, discover their potential, and step boldly into their futures.

Together, we are creating a community where young people feel confident to be brave, dream big, and make positive change.
