New Early Years Outdoor Areas Open at Kingsland

November 12, 2025

Today marked a wonderful milestone at Kingsland C.E. Academy as our CEO, Lisa Sarikaya, joined staff and pupils to officially open the academy’s brand-new outdoor learning areas for Nursery and Reception. With a ribbon-cutting ceremony and plenty of excitement in the air, the Early Years team proudly showcased the vibrant new spaces designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and joyful learning.

Not even the British weather could dampen our spirits! With puddle suits zipped up and smiles at the ready, our youngest learners wasted no time splashing in puddles, exploring every corner, and engaging in rich, hands-on play. The new outdoor areas have been thoughtfully developed to support physical development, language, social skills, and early exploration – all foundations of an exceptional early years experience.

These spaces reflect Kingsland’s commitment to giving children the best possible start to their education. They also align beautifully with St. Bart’s Multi-Academy Trust’s mission of Releasing Potential Together, ensuring environments where every child can thrive.

We cannot wait to see the adventures, discoveries, and wonderfully muddy moments that will unfold in the weeks and months ahead. This is just the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our Early Years provision, and the joy on the children’s faces says it all.
