The St. Bart’s latest NLE designation
13 July 2017
Lisa Sarikaya, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Operations and Executive Principal of Belgrave St. Bartholomew’s Academy and Westfield Nursery School, has been designated as a National Leader of Education (NLE) in the latest recruitment round. NLEs along with staff in their school – designated a national support school (NSS) – use their success and professionalism to provide school-to-school support to schools in challenging circumstances. Belgrave St Bartholomew’s Academy is a cohort two teaching school and has a number of staff designated as specialist leaders of education who provide outreach support to schools in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire, Cheshire and Shropshire. The benefits of being a national support school mean staff have to be outward-looking and raise the practice of all staff as many schools/individuals come to look around the school and observe the learning.
Educational Leaders from across the Trust have returned from a week long visit to Zwolle University in the Netherlands.
Belgrave St. Bartholomew’s Academy has continued to excel by achieving an Outstanding judgement.
