Belgrave Receives Leading Parent Partnership Award (LPPA)

Belgrave St. Bartholomew’s Academy has received the Leading Parent Partnership Award (LPPA) for their work in helping to strengthen the school’s partnership with parents.
LPPA is a national award that is given in recognition of commitment to working with parents.
The LPPA helps to achieve long-term benefits including:
• contribute to improved pupil attendance, punctuality, behaviour and progress
• increase parent participation and involvement
• enhance parents’ support in their children’s learning
• improve communication between home and school.

For the last eight years, the team at Saint Nathaniel’s Academy has been working with pupils to develop and transform the school’s garden into a valuable, child-safe asset that is much-loved by its many pupils.
Forty children from across the Trust attended Rugby Development Training hosted by Longton Rugby Club.
The first of March saw two new academies join the St. Bart’s family – Whitchurch CE Infant and Nursery Academy and Whitchurch CE Junior Academy.
